The English-style mansion, which sits on four acres and has five bedrooms, a billiard room, a gym and a two-car garage, was sold by Maria Babaev of real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman.

The Long Island estate of Peter B. Madoff, the younger brother of Bernard L. Madoff, has been sold for several million dollars less than its original asking price, after years of efforts to find a buyer.

Feds sell Peter Madoff’s mansion for $3.5M

“We had multiple bids on the property,” said Douglas Elliman broker Maria Babaev.
The lavish Georgian colonial at 34 Pheasant Run in Old Westbury sits on four acres, with a pool and tennis court. The buyer is a local family, sources said.
Peter bought the home 20 years ago, Babaev said.

Peter Madoff’s LI home sells for $3.5M

The Long Island home belonging to Peter Madoff, brother of Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff, has sold for $3.5 million.

The luxurious, five-bedroom home in Old Westbury, which includes a private tennis court and a swimming pool, had been on the market for multiple years, the New York Daily News reported. The proceeds of the sale will go toward paying restitution to the Ponzi scheme victims.
